Multiple Monitor Display System
Falcon Predator Display

"I just wanted to let everyone at Falcon know that the Predator Graphics Card is the Coolest thing going. I just learned how to set up my desktops and how to flip from Desktop to Desktop. I have a six monitor setup and to be able to set up different windows on 36 different screens and flip to them quickly is awesome."

Falcon Predator Display

The Predator display system is the most productive and powerful multiple monitor display system today. The technology used is completely cutting-edge and rock solid stable. Falcon Technology Systems is the first to bring this technology to market. The Predator system can be used on systems from one to twelve monitors, although the three to six monitor configurations are our favorites.

With the multiple desktop feature you can easily switch between six different Windows desktops. Each desktop can have a different set of programs running (but usually not the same trading platform repeated). Each desktop is a face on a 3D cube for easy navigation.

The video memory is 2GB for 1-6 monitors and 4GB for up to 12 monitors. The video cards use ultra fast memory, true 256-bit processing and an incredible 1600 graphics processing units that can pump out 2 teraFLOPS of graphics output (FLOPS = FLoating Operations Per Second).

Displayed to the right is the Falcon Predator Video card compared to the card found in most trading computers.

The video demonstration on the left shows the conventional "high-performance" approach to operating 8 monitors on one computer:

Conventional configuration:

  • Intel 950 processor at 3.06GHz
  • 12GB DDR3 Memory at 1,333MHz
  • 128GB Solid State Hard Drive
  • Two (2) ATI FirePro 2460 Video cards

The stuttering video and jumpy donut rotation using the conventional configuration is caused by its inability to keep up with a heavy workload.

This test involves repeating an HD video of jellyfish swimming on the left set of 4 monitors, and a rotating furry donut on the right set of 4 monitors.

The video demonstration on the right shows the Falcon F-35X using the 8 monitor Predator configuration with the exact same video test setup but different hardware:

F-35X configuration (on right):

  • Intel 960 processor at 3.85GHz
  • 12GB DDR3 Memory at 1,600MHz
  • 120GB Solid State PCIe Hard Drive
  • Predator Video Configuration

With the Falcon you get completely smooth performance under conditions that are too difficult for other computers.

The comparison was setup to be as fair a test as possible to truly demonstrate the quantum leap in performance you can experience with a Falcon trading computer and the Predator display system.
