Cutting Edge Hardware

More than ten years ago, we introduced the remarkably popular F-37X model to the world now the torch carries on with the F-37GT. With CPU speeds of 4.6 - 5.0GHz using the latest Intel processor there are few computers sold today that can compete with it for performance and dependability.

Processor Performance Comparison

When deciding which Falcon Desktop to buy, knowing which performs better for your trading program(s) is critical. If you do not know if your application is Single- or Multi-Thread capable, contact our sales staff and we will do our best to find out for you. Take a look at the chart below to see where each CPU we use stands compared to the others. Mouse-over or touch each bar for its value.

Single Threaded Performance

When using programs that only capable of using a single core of the processor (NinjaTrader 7, ThinkorSwim, Sierra Charts), a fast single-thread processor is better than a fast multi-thread processor.

Multi Threaded Performance

When using a program that can use all the cores of the processor (eSignal, TradeStation, NinjaTrader 8), a fast multi-thread processor is what you want.

Video Card Performance Comparison

Falcon Desktops give you the ability to have multiple charts open on multiple screens. These charts use simple 2D elements such as simple vectors, fonts, and text, and are driven by the Windows 10 interface. Having high-end graphics cards can make a trading computer more complex (and also more expensive) than it needs to be. Below are the summed up scores, when testing 2D functionality, of our video cards (the P620 and GT 710) compared to some of the more powerful (and expensive) cards out there, like the GTX 1080. While these cards are meant for gaming, they also have other purposes. If you would like to purchase a non-standard graphics card with your desktop, please call our sales team.

Falcon Trading System® computers undergo an extensive series of tests to ensure that they are 100% ready for rigorous service.

Performance testing determines the correct settings to tune the computer for maximum stability, realization, and reliability.

Non-destructive stress testing is performed to discover components that are currently functioning but are weak and will fail quickly.

Extensive static electricity controls in our production process prevent degradation of the components prior to shipment.
